"Little Women & Good Wives" - Louisa May Alcott

"Little Women" has got to be one of the coziest, most feel-good classics I’ve probably ever read. Louisa May Alcott’s portrayal of the sisters, all so different and loveable for their own distinct personalities, is peobably the best part of reading the story. You do feel like you live with the March sisters in their lovely home and you’ve known them your whole life.

I must say the reason why I wouldn’t give the book 5 stars is because though the character-study is fascinating, it does make the argument drag on a bit slowly for my taste. In fact, the most exciting and capturing moments were at the very end of the book itself.

Nevertheless, I would recommend to read this during the winter-time; a warm cup of hot cocoa in-hand & enjoying the sweetness of the tale by the fireplace.

Secondly, "Good Wives" was such a beautiful and heart-warming story. Definitely, the best ending these characters could have received.

The way they grow and face life’s obstacles and opportunities is truly inspiring and thought-provoking. I definitely recommend it for cottagecore lovers and for anyone who wants to read a feel-good book.

The settings were also incredibly dreamy and the relationships’ development felt so natural and tender. "Little Wives" includes some of the loveliest romances I’ve ever had the pleasure to read, even though it is much more than purely just a romantic novel.
